Today I am going to give you my top 5 teen movies that I love and will watch over and over again.

5. Better Off Dead
Better Off DeadBetter off Dead

I saw this movie when I was in High School and couldn’t stop laughing. This is such a classic teen comedy about a guy who gets dumped by this girl that he is obsessed with. So he does everything he can to try and get her back only to find out that he is actually in love with the neighbor across the street. A movie anyone would enjoy no matter what their age may be.

4. Superbad

I just recently watched this movie about a month ago and holy hell it was freaking hilarious. This movie is not for young kids and I don’t recommend it to parents to watch with their young kids. If you like crude humor this movie is for you.

3. American Pie
American PieAmerican Pie

The famous pie scene that will live forever in movie history. Poor Jason Biggs will never ever live that down and will always be known for being the guy that FUCKED THE PIE. Great movie about 4 friends trying to get laid before they leave highschool

2. Can’t Hardly Wait

“I CAN KICK EVERYONE ASS IN THIS ROOM!!” Have to love that line. This movie is not only funny but it is pretty serious in some parts and has a great story.

1. Dazed and Confused

This is one of those movies I have to watch at least once a month. It is so funny to see so many of the huge stars that are in Hollywood now back when they were that young. A real cool look at how it was back in the day in highschool and how much it has changed sense even I was there. I love this movie and it was a no contest at putting this one at number one.

Well I know I didn’t go into a super amount of detail as to why I like these movies but oh well what can you do? I know there are tons more but these are the ones that stuck out to me the most. If you have your own don’t hesitate to post them up.

So I went and saw Jumper on Saturday and I have to say that I was a weeeee bit disappointed in the movie. Don’t get me wrong the action was awesome and the fight scene were really really cool. But the over all plot and dialog of the movie was rather disappointing. I will give credit to Hayden Christensen though he did impress me a little bit with his acting, cause lets face it after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith everyone was thinking he was a pretty shitty actor. He did a pretty good job in this movie but you can tell he still needs some more practice. I read a interview with him a couple months ago about this movie and they had said they would like to make a series out of this movie(which by the way is based off of a book by Steven Gould). I can see this being a good story but they definitely need to do some more work on the over all story. I don’t know how the book is because I don’t like to read books.

Would I recommend this movie to someone? I would say wait till video if you really want to watch this movie. If you are looking for a mindless action movie this movie would fit the bill. But if you are looking for a story with some phenomenal acting this is not the movie for you. This is a full on entertainment only movie, maybe the next one will actually have some plot and story to it but this one was lacking it very much.

Today I am going to list my top 10 action movies. These are action movies I can watch on a weekly basis with out any trouble.

10. Bourne Identity
Bourne IdentityBourne Identity

I am a sucker for spy/assassin style movies and this one definatly tops them all. I could of easily put all three of the bournes because I loved them all so much. I have to watch them at least once every couple of months.

9. Lethal Weapon
Lethal Weapon
The Lethal Weapon series is just awesome I grew up watching all of these with my mom. I still can sit and watch all four of them in one day with out ever getting tired of them.

8. Transformers
Transformers
This is movie is bad ass enough said there. It was the best action movie to come out last summer and I can seriously sit and watch it once a week. Starscream is a bad ass and the coolest transformer hands down.

7. Face Off
Face Off
Great movie, tons of action and plenty of one liners that you can quote all the time… ” It’s like looking in a mirror. Only… not.”

6. Batman
Batman
This one was a tuffy to choose between this one and Batman Begins. But I had to go with the orginal that started it all(movie wise). I still think Michiel Keaton was the best Batman, not only did he pull off Bruce Wayne but he pulled of being Batman just amazingly. I still give my boy Christian Bale props though he is a close 2nd with Keaton. It will definately be interesting to see The Dark Knight.

5. Terminator
Terminator
Terminator was just a classic and really opened up the doors into the future style movies. Even when I watch this movie now I get chills everytime I hear that music play that says the terminator is there. Freaking awesome

4. Tombstone
Tombstone
Just and awesome movie all around. Val Kilmer was the star of this movie I have never seen anyone play a better Doc Holliday he pulled it off perfectly. This is my favorite western of all time I can watch this over and over and never get tired of it.

3. Predator
Predator
This movie still scares the shit out of me sometimes. The predator is just so fucking ugly, have to love how Arnold gets thrown around. Great movie and it has The Body in it how could it not be good?

2. The Rock
The Rock
All star cast, guns, hostages, marines, navy seals, THE ROCK… Non stop action, witty humor, and great story. I love this movie.

1. Die Hard

“Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker. ” What else is there to say about this movie?

So I went and saw this movie last night with the wife and I have to say it wasn’t half bad for a kids movie. No we don’t have kids but my wife happens to be a 2nd grade teacher and all her kids wanted to see it so she could have something to talk about with them. The movie was better then I had expected I really expected it to have over the top acting and the plot to be meh. Having not read the books(not a reader god invented movies for a reason) I rather enjoyed it and was entertained through out the whole movie. Kids would love this movie because all the cool special effects and old kids will also be entertained with this movie as well as adults.

The story begins when a single mom and her 3 kids move into this big house their great Aunt had left them. One of the kids is the black sheep of the family and gets blamed for everything well they stumble upon this elevator type thing and he goes up there and gets tossed into this hole other part of the world that normal people can not see. He finds this old book that says don’t open and of coarse he opens it which brings him all these orgs and what not to the house trying to get the book to destroy mankind so he has to convince his family about these strange creatures and stop them from getting the book.

It is non stop action which will keep your kids interested all the way through. I highly recommend it to anyone with kids. You can also check out the books here:
