21 Movie Review

So yes I know it has been a little while sense I have posted, been really busy with work and all that fun real life stuff. But about a week ago I went and saw the movie 21. This was a great movie, I am already a huge poker and Black Jack fan so this movie was right up my ally. The acting in the movie was very good, the casting could not of been more perfect. Kevin Spacey delivers yet another amazing performance like he always does. I also really enjoyed the performance from what I am guessing a up and coming star Jim Sturgess.
For those that don’t know what the movie is about it is about young students at MIT that get put together to count cards in blackjack to always win. Ben(Jim Sturgess) is the newest member of the team and he soon becomes the most popular with Prof. Micky Rosa (Spacey). So as you can imagine they win big and Ben is having the time of his life and flying high. Nothing can go wrong for him until he has one bad night and loses a lot of money and then his life is thrown in a downward spiral that he must try and fix. The movie is rather long but honestly it didn’t feel that way. I walked away from this movie very entertained and satisfied… I would strong recommend this movie to anyone that like blackjack or and kind of gambling in general. Hell even if you don’t like gambling you will enjoy this movie.
